The Longmont Museum mourns the loss of our Director, Martha Clevenger, who passed away on September 10 following a long illness. Hired in October 2000, she guided the Museum during its move to the Longmont Museum & Cultural Center at 400 Quail Road, oversaw such major projects as the construction of the new Museum, bringing in major traveling exhibits such as Ansel Adams and Route 66, hosting the Latin Giants of Jazz concert, and the permanent history exhibit Front Range Rising. Her legacy is visible throughout the Museum.
